"Launched in 2017, AARAMBH series is an endeavour to bring forth young talent assisting them in taking forward the legacy of their gurus. The Raza Foundation, through AARAMBH series, promotes young performing artists in the vast arena of dance and music. We receive a large number of applications every year. The selection process begins in the month of May and June. A jury of eminent and renowned dancers and musicians is set up to complete the selection process. The Foundation, thereby, contacts the selected applicants only.
Our School series of Aarambh, launched in 2018, has also accomplished its set goal to develop interest for classical traditions of dance and music in school children. Selected young classical dancers and musicians are given the opportunity to perform in various school campuses through this series. We have covered many prestigious government as well as private schools of Delhi last year and have also covered schools and colleges of Mandla, Madhya Pradesh as well as of Raipur, Chhattisgarh last month. We are going to take the initiative forward with many more future performances in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and New Delhi, extending our reach to other states also. The Raza Foundation tries not to limit these selected artists to a single platform, and remain open to provide them further opportunities to present their talent again in other series such as Yuva Shastriya, Sangeet Purnima and other outstation events of AARAMBH."
The event was organised at the Alliance Française de Delhi, New Delhi on 6th of September 2019.
