Ameera Patankar, a Kathak danseuse from Pune, is a versatile dancer with a enigmatic stage presence. A disciple of Guru Smt Shamatai Bhate, Ameera topped her MA Dance degree from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University. A recipient of the national scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Ameera has widely performed across India and abroad, independently and as a leading dancer of the Nadroop troupe. While combining both grace and virtuosity in her dance, Ameera is adept at Abhinaya and likes to take on challenges. Ameera is an aspiring choreographer as well, with some unique work to her credit.
