Anagha Bhat Born in a family of music lovers, Anagha Bhat was initiated into Hindustani classical music by her parents. She received her initial training from Smt. Geetha Hegde, based in Bengaluru . She has been under the tutelage of Padmashree Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata ,since 2014, as a Scholar. She also holds a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering and a Masters in Hindustani vocal music. Some milestones in Anagha's musical journey include the Pt. Mallikarjun Mansur Rashtreeya Yuva Puraskaar- Dharwad, INLAKS music fellowship -Mumbai, Akhil Bharatiya Yuva Sanman- New Delhi, National fellowship ,ITC- SRA scholarship, Junior Research Fellowship by the Govt. of India, Kalatmika Research fellow -IGNCA amongst several others. She has performed in several prestigious platforms, in India & Abroad including the Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan- Jalandhar, NCPA- Mumbai, Raza Foundation - New Delhi, Saptak - Ahmedabad, ITC-SRA- Kolkata, BKF- Mallikarjun Mansur Utsav, Devnandan Ubhayaker Yuva Utsav- Bangalore, Rasikapriya, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - Cochin, Alva’s Nudisiri, Ethno music festivals in Belgium, BRTGermany, Ressonance Shudhha -France amongst several others.
