Mayank Shyam (Born 1987) was initiated into painting by his late father Jangarh Shyam. He belongs to Village - Patagarh, Post Patangarh, Thana Karnjiya District-Dindore, (M.P). He won State Award, Hasta Shilpa Nigam Hath Kardha Vikas Nigam, Bhopal in 2006.
He has participated in number of artist camps organized by Lalit Kala Academies and various foundations, participated in various exhibitions since 2006 .
He got recognized as an established Gond artist, whose art woks were being selected by art lovers, collectors and exhibitions, in 2007 he exhibited in SOTHEBY ART AUCTIONS in New York(USA) in the following year he had his art exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions with M.F. Hussain, at CIMA art Gallery, Kolkata,2007.
He participated around 10 art comps in India, 26 Group exhibitions in India Internationally he participated in Group shows around 28 in major cities like Parris, Tokyo of Japan and France etc..
