Nasir Ahmad Sheikh, I am an interdisciplinary artist from Kashmir. I predominantly work with paintings, performances, and poetry. I have attained my BBA from Islamia college, Jammu and Kashmir. Presently I am pursuing Bachelor's in Fine Art from the University of Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir. I delve into themes of memory, death, and self. I endeavor to explore the intricacies of diverse forms.

I experiment with Charcoal, Walnut ink, Shroud, and Metaphors out of my own experience. My work has been displayed in various exhibitions and workshops (National Workshops), most recently in Kochi, Muziris Biennale, and Wrong Biennale.
I was initiated into the world of questioning and imagination by my grandmother, who never relied on verbal language. Had she not been there, I wouldn't have self-expression nor any purpose in my life. I believe, my works today speak of my inner turmoil but also act as a stark reflection of how I visualize the ever-changing world around me.
